Tibet Guoyu Jewelry and Culture Co., Ltd. is located in the Tibet-Qinghai (Zangqing in pinyin) Industrial Park in Golmud City, Qinghai Province. The Zangqing Industrial Park was established as a deputy department level management unit in Golmud City, approved by the Qinghai Provincial Government and the Tibet Autonomous Region Government, in accordance with the deployment of the 5th Central Symposium on Tibet Work in 2010. The park will build a "one body, two wings" industrial system led by resource processing and supported by the recycling economy, the logistics industry and the trade industry. The people’s Government of Tibet Autonomous Region offers incentives and preferential policies to firms that set up in the Zangqing Industrial Park. Tibet Guoyu Jewelry and Culture Co., Ltd. ("Guoyu Jewelry"for short) was registered and established on December 23, 2020, with a registered capital of 200 million yuan, thanks to the preferential policies of the Tibet-Qinghai Industrial Park. The business scope includes: design, research and development, manufacturing and sales of artworks and ceremonial articles (except ivory and its derivative products); design, research and development, manufacturing and sales of jewels; appraisal and evaluation services for artworks and collectibles (excluding cultural relics); mineral washing and processing; sales of non-metallic minerals and derivative products; processing of building stones and sales of building materials; park management services; general cargo warehousing services (excluding hazardous chemicals and other projects that require licensing and approval); Import and export of goods (excluding the import and export of artworks); Intellectual property services; Non residential real estate leasing; Cultural product exhibition services (except for projects that require approval according to law, independently carry out business activities that are not prohibited or restricted by laws and regulations).

In May of 2021, at the invitation of the Zangqing Industrial Park, Guoyu Zhubao officially started the construction of “the Zangqing Industrial Park-- National and Cultural Jewelry Industry Park”(Guoyu Zhubao for short). This project was approved by the local Government of Golmud city. Guoyu Zhubao is a corporation that specializes in manufacturing Chinese traditional jewelry by using Hotan Jade as the main raw material. It has been operating in the sector for many decades, after years of unremitting efforts, today it has rich human and market resources, it also has rich raw material resources. It’s the leading company that has great influence in the traditional industry. With so many advantages, Guoyu Zhubao can integrate different manufacturers of the industry into an industrial cluster.

Guoyu Zhubao takes the responsibility for attracting investment; constructing, operating and managing the National Jewelry Industry Park. It will invite other manufacturers of the downstream of the industry from other provinces to form a industrial cluster that all members specialize in the manufacturing of jewelry using Hotan Jade as the main raw material. In this way, the “Park in Park” model will be able to achieve.The new industrial cluster has to face the current circumstances such as the conflict between those great powers, the pandemic Covid-19 and the challenges in the jewelry industry.          After the official launch of this project, the planned output will be up to 12 million Buddhist beads a year; the output of jade Buddha statues, jade Guanyin statues and jade amulets will be up to 5 million en total a year; it will also produce 600,000 pairs of jade bracelets. Meanwhile, the importation of the raw material will carry out in the industrial park as well. The company will import raw material from South Korea, Russia, Afghanistan and Pakistan. The selecting and cleaning work will be done in the industrial park and the semi-finished products will be sold to the nationwide markets. It plans to achieve sales of over one billion yuan within three years. The company will strive to be the first listed company of the jade industry in the Chines stock market. That would be very beneficial to the development of the jade industry. In the same way, the company makes its contribution to the economic development of Tibet and Qinghai.
